How to make cakes of beans, spicy Indian Style - a vegetarian recipe not to be missed

Is it possible to be really excited about a recipe? I mean, it's just a recipe - right? Well let me tell you that I am! I want to teach you a vegetarian recipe that I have failed over the years, and I really don't know why. He loses a little in my hard drive and it wasn't until today that I found once more. This vegetarian recipe actually began life as a Mexican recipe I used to do during the University of California. I added a few Indian spices and voila... a new vegetarian recipe of Indian-style was born.

This may not be authentic Indian cuisine, but you keep. The spicy green peppers and roasted cardamom and cumin seeds, with the mashed beans make a dish which is filled with flavor. Bean cakes were crispy outside and soft centre which will leave your guests wondering what that you just served. My wife actually thought that it is a kind of meat. I told him that it is the brain of the lamb.

Not this lamb brain is bad, but it did air a little worried.

I recommend to eat these cakes of bean with a fresh green salad accompanied by Indian chutney of your choice.

4 Dessert

Preparation time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes

INGREDIENTS

boxes of 2 x 400 ml of beans, drained liquid

Seeds of white cumin 1 tbsp
Black cardamom seeds 1 tbsp
3 Spoons fresh grated coconut soup
powder red hot chilli 1/2 teaspoon
2 peppers green pepper, finely chopped
1/2 slices of white bread
1 clove garlic - broken and finely chopped
1 inch - finely chopped ginger
Gram flour 1 tbsp
Mango powder 1 tbsp
salt and pepper to taste
4 Spoons soup of vegetable oil

method

In a large skillet, roasted cumin seeds and the seeds of cardamom evenly until they start smoking.

Transfer the seeds in a mill spices and grind into a fine powder.

Pour the beans in a food processor with the powder of spices and the rest of ingredients except oil. Dough process.

Heat oil in skillet over medium heat.

With your hands or a spoon, to make small wafers and add oil. While that fry bean patties, press them lightly them flatten. The dough will be a little sticky and forming a little delicate cakes.

FRY for about 3 minutes on each side, until the outside is nice and crisp.

You may need to do this in batches.

Transfer the bean in a paper towel cakes and keep warm.

Serve immediately with a green salad and chutney of your choice.
