Like many homes, chicken is a staple for dinner for my family. But this get tired is not it? There are only so many ways to cook a chicken, especially if you typically use the boneless variety, without skin. Several years back, we discovered these really tasty meals in a plastic bag. They are unique in serving chicken dishes. Our favorite is the chicken blue cord. Unfortunately, the list of ingredients and fat and calories in these figures just make past my nutrition standards. My remake this dish is really quick and easy. perfect for dinner night is busy. You can even prepare the night before and just pop in the oven when you are ready. Don't forget to check the statistics at the end of the recipe.
CORDON BLEU ROLL-UPS.
4 small chicken breasts (total 1 lb)
8 chopped ham deli slices
4 TSP low fat cream cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Each breast of chicken on a board cut, cover with a sheet of plastic and book about a quarter of an inch in thickness. Cut each breast in two. Spread ½ TSP cheese cream on each piece of chicken. Place a slice of ham on the cream cheese. Roll each piece of chicken and place seam-side down in a baking dish sprayed cooking spray. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
